I gaze out my window at the city surrounding me
as I think to myself about our world.
Have I ever understood the concept of love?
Is it in the place that I live in?
–
I watch our earth die around me
and I wonder did we create this monster?
This world constantly dissatisfies us
and we continue to kill it so.
–
I wonder if I will ever find a home,
that date expired many years ago.
To stand on a land doomed already
with a death note in its pocket.
