Grace Heriegel

First week back at University – wow… I finished my last year all the way back in April; as we only have coursework I was done before most. So here I am, back in my lectures, a whole five months later. It’s strange, I feel like it was just yesterday I was walking these halls as a fresher, but I also recognise how I am a completely changed person from when I was last here. If I’m being this philosophical now, god knows what I’ll be like when I graduate.

I love being a busy-body again, rushing around from class to class, working away in a crowded café whilst coffee keeps me awake and just laughing with friends. It makes me feel so alive and rich in love and progression. I feel at home in my routine.

Perhaps all people my age are out partying, drinking and having fun. I don’t have any problem with that, and I’m not someone opposed to getting absolutely plastered… But I find the peace and calm in my life the most enjoyable way to live, and an evening writing my assignments in bed by nine is more than good enough for me.
