This God storyline is getting more complex by the minute… I was most excited for this episode when looking at the teasers, and boy was I right. The graphics in this episode were incredible, especially when Lux turned three-dimensional I was truly horrified.
As much as I am loving this consistency with the Gods storyline – all praise Russell T Davies – I am finding it interesting to follow. The riddles are fun, and I do like how Lux avoided the rules of the Gods to the best of its ability – even those the rules are a little pretentious themselves…

The film section was hilarious. The NYPD in Miami was just comical, as well as the reflection on us as watchers and fans was just simply fun.
Landing in the 1950s and talking about racial segregation is an interesting one. It’s been long coming – cue the ginger Doctor next – and definitely holds a place in such an explorative show as this. But with already being mentioned in ‘Dot and Bubble’, there is a question of how far its going to go. A comment which I can’t seem to find anymore… stated how they watch the show for how the Doctor is more than human, how these trivial matters don’t matter in the breadth of the universe. So I think going forward it’ll be interesting if this appears again, and what more Davies has to say, as well as the audience.
I’m so excited for this storyline to continue, wondering what God is going to appear next and if they will best the Doctor as these have seemed like easy defeats so far… Graphics get a 10/10 from me, but storyline? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
