I have absolutely no idea where to start…
In an episode followed by so much hate, I wasn’t opposed to it all. Sure, it’s not my favourite episode, especially ending, BUT I still enjoyed it all.
The theme of being asleep, wanting the world in a hazy dream where everything is ‘perfect’ gets summed up hilariously. The way UNIT reacted to it all made me cackle. You are more than the world makes you to be!!!
As timeywimey as it’s all been, Jodie making an appearance was lovely. I was hoping a little bit for Matt, but maybe I’m bias…

I loved the Poppy storyline. Nothing is stronger than a mother’s love, and that was shown in the life of poppy. The twist of her turning into a human child disappointed me a little. I was hoping she could still be half timelord and we could wait for her to grow up, or regenerate, and we could have a version of River Song on our hands – but without the romance of course!!
Ruby is warming to be one of my favourite companions. I am very excited to see who, or what, she is, but the idea of her being human is kind of cool. The most amazing people don’t have to be something different, they can just be like you and me. She reminds me of Clara, someone who is just like the Doctor in how forgiving she is. Full of second chances and still seeing the good in people, I hope she stays for the future.
Talking about the future, I either read a rumour or just assumed… Ncuti just wants to move on. The two longest staying actors: David Tennant and Matt Smith had Doctor Who as their passion project. They were such Whovians growing up that they took this opportunity and were barely able to let it go. Ncuti is incredible, especially as the Doctor. He’s brought so much to the character and the show: campness, vulnerability and love. I do wish he could’ve had more – especially with classic villains such as the Daleks and Cybermen, but he has an amazing career ahead of human and so much to do as an actor that people need to let him go.
Billie Piper however, I’m not going to judge quite yet… I’m more excited to sit and wait to see where this is all going!
