This is definitely my favourite book of all time (well, so far) and I feel as if I could ramble on and on about it for days!

I truly can’t believe that one person created the Grishaverse, as it is so complex and beautiful. Even though you are entering a new world, it’s written so eloquently that – as a reader – you can understand the inner workings within the first few pages of the novel.

The plot thoroughly entertained me from start to finish. You enter this novel as one of the crew, not knowing what is true danger or an easy fix as Kaz Brekker keeps his secrets hidden far, far away. Nothing felt forced, the story was easy to follow but in a complex way that created a vivid world I was completely immersed in.

The relationships between the characters are beautiful. From the friendships to romances, each character to another is reflective of the situation at hand. There’s no love or hate for the sake of it – Inej and Nina’s friendship was by far my favourite.

I fully well know I’m about to read the entirety of her discography as I cannot get enough of her writing <3
