It’s been over five months now and I can’t believe I haven’t made a blog post about my new job!!!

Over Christmas, I had the honour to be hired at Waterstones as their temp Peak Bookseller, which was an EXPERIENCE to say the least (Christmas shoppers are the worst I have to say…) but I have learnt so much and have felt so fulfilled that my crazy knowledge of books can finally be put to use!! Also, I have gained so much more knowledge as I now have access to proof copies and ARCs which is so exciting and fun!

I have since been transferred to the lovely Blackwell’s Bookshop – with the best fellow staff members I could ever ask for.

It’s so lovely to be able to create such beautiful tables and have a more impactful presence on people’s shopping experience. I have given endless recommendations and now feel fully immersed in the book selling experience. And things have only gotten more fun recently!! It’s also been an exciting time for romantasy fans out there, with the release of the Onyx Storm paperback which I had so much fun creating a dragon themed corner to promote this!

So much more coming soon as exciting titles are published and we get to curate beautiful and intriguing tables… Here’s to many more months working with such an amazing company. <3
